NM100: PIC In Circuit Programmer
This is NorthMicro’s low cost development class In Circuit Programmer. It
connects
to a computer running Microchip’s MPLAB IDE software using a serial cable.
The programmer responds to MPLAB as if it was a PICSTART PLUS. It is designed
to be used with Northmicro’s NM101 prototype board, (or use it with your
own target board by supplying the 5 wire ICP interface). This combination gives
the user a unique environment in which code can be developed and tested on the
target system without removing the microcontroller. This reduces the chance of
broken pins and speeds development.

$99.00
Includes a NM101 Pic Proto Board
and an NM101C Stackable Connector!
MPLAB allows users to seamlessly program in C from various venders,
or PIC assembly. The target can then be programmed without ever
leaving the design environment, eliminating potential problems of
programming with the wrong version of code.
The programmer makes use of Microchip’s PIC incircuit programming
capability allowing the user the freedom of never having to remove
the microcontroller during the programming phase.
It is fully compatible with MPLAB. This software is available for
download from Microchip website. www.microchip.com
The programmer does not need any special power supplies. It derives
all its needs from a 5Volt supply from the target system.
No additional software or patches are required.
System operates at 20MHz for accurate timing.
Capabilities:
Operates with MPLAB running on a windows environment
Reads, programs, verifies EPROM and EEPROM program and data memory
Reads, programs, verifies all configuration bits
Programs and verifies an address range
Displays, edits, and transfers device contents to and from programmer
unit.
